Luckily, he was there when I arrived at the party.
I have been crushing on Jack for at least a month and a few days. Only my friend knows about him and she totally knows I can be a little obessive. She loves to (jokingly) taunt me about it.
On Tuesday, she told me about a random party she was having on Saturday. When I was reluctant to go, she looked upset and hurt. I turned around to leave so my conscience didn’t start to talk. Suddenly, I heard I voice I could pick out for miles. Jack! I whipped my head around.
“Hey Morgan, I can come to your party on Saturday!” My jaw flew open. As he walked past me, I quickly shut it.
“Hi Becca,” he actually said to me.
“Hey.” I couldn’t belive he said hi to me! A thought burst into my head and I stated to run. “Morgan, you invited Jack!?”
“I did it …for you.” She waited. “Now will you come?”
“Of course I will!”
That was then. Now, I was walking into the party. I took extra time for Jack. I walked in slowly.
“Hey Becca, you made it!
“Yep.”
