The pain, it sucks me down, down into the never ending pit of my own stomach. I try to retch their poisons that dull my senses and rob me of my rightful powers. My mind swims in their fill while the white room mocks me. They all mock me. I can hear them even now.

“You put it where?”
“I’m sorry, sir, Cate has become too much of a liability. I’ve seen what she can do.”
So have I, doc, but that doesn’t mean…”

There is no meaning any more. White is filth. Blood is wine. Up is down. My insides are out. My gut really does try to escape through my throat as I reel at what they’ve done to me. They’ve put something in me! No, no, no!

”...to a safer facility, one more well equipped.”
“Doc, not there. Not that place. For heaven’s sake, you promised!”
I’m sorry, Mr. Hend. I truly am.”

I will travel, ahead and away from my body. I will be everywhere and nowhere. I shall transcend this violation, after I sleep, only for a little while, a brief slumber before Armageddon.

    this is soooo good and EXACTLY where I was heading!!! i really wanted her to be in a different place, like moved from the hospital into a more sinister place and now we have proof!!

    ooooh i love this

    cant wait to sequel….when i think of something lol

    i was bursting with ideas so i had to sequel

    you wouldnt mind if i duh duh duh broke the pattern and sequeled my own story?!

    i have some ideas of where its going….thoughi kinda want to see where you take it….ooooohh exciting!

    i couldnt resist

    its a bit sci-fi…the second sequel…but that was inevitably going to happen with this series anyways!
