Midnight hue

by Blossom Ruoqen

Do you see the mountains shifting,
or the grass turn a new hue?

Did you catch the midnight rainstorm,
or gaze upon the long-gone dew?

Will the sky fall down around us,
or our loved ones live again?

Should I wait for you forever,
or would that be called a sin?

This is written in so few words, yet i don’t think that any more could possibly be said otherwise the piece would fall apart. Your writing is fluid and sounds very good read aloud. Then again, most poetry is, as poetry is meant to be heard and felt and not so much seen and read.
