Ficlets

The pines were as tall as a giant you see in movies, and I am like the people they smash. I felt as if I were naked, the coat did nothing to keep me warm. Too soon I began to feel dizzy. I walked a few steps, tripped over a log, and passed out.

I woke up in front of a large cabin and smiled. I saw my friends around me and they walked me into the cabin. I sat down next to the fire to get warm. Soon I felt warm,then hot, so i took of my jacket and shirt. After that i couldn’t escape the heat. I was on fire. I rolled hoping to put the heat out. Just then, I woke up from the slumber. I glanced at my watch.. 2:23 AM. I then thought if they didn’t look for me by now, they must all be wasted.

I felt heat strike my body, I looked around and no light nor fire. I began to get even hotter. I stripped down into only my underwear. Then then heat went away, I found my self shirtless and pant less, in at least -8 degree weather.
