The drummer of the band, Fall Out Boy was reading Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer.

This was reading number seven (7) and he knew he should be practicing or getting ready for a gig.

He absently twirled the four leaf clover he’d found tucked neatly within the pages of the book wondering why he’d even picked up the book in the first place.

He finally decided he’d had enough of the demise of the world at the fateful hands of a misguided comet that struck the moon and closed the book.

As he lay it upon the nightstand, he repeated the famous quote from Aesop, “Adventure is worthwhile.”

Then he walked away.

    this is interesting. I like the idea of it being in joe’s(i think thats his name) perspective. you intertwined everything in a really great, understandable way.
