Somewhere in the middle of the last Simon & Blake serial, I started wondering where Blake actually earns his money from… since, you know, he never seems to get paid. And The Vatican funding Black Ops Monster Hunters, that made sense to me. I just never found a way to work it in.

And sorry, I know nothing about espionage stuff, so I made something up that sounded good. I know what it all means (kinda), but I don’t know if it sounds “authentic.”

I’m kind of surprised that Blake’s on The Vatican’s payroll, but I’ll go with it.
