Cytheria & Jaselyn

“Ooh, maybe I should have called you or something, Im sorry Cy I didn’t think you’d get mad.” “Im not mad,” she said, “I just, um, didn’t expect it that’s all.” We were in the kitchen making sandwiches, Jackson was in her family room watching Gladiator. “So are we still doing our plans? Or no?” “Of course Jaselyn De Rivera, we don’t break promises” she smiled at me. “That’s good Cy Cy, cuz we have a good day planned.”
I sat next to Cytheria, she put her arm around me, we ate. “So, Cy where are you from?” asked Jackson.

“Um, really I was born in Alexandria, Egypt but I’m adopted, and Justina is from Boston so yeah, I’m not sure what I am.” “Wow, that’s amazing, so your Egyptian, that’s so cool” he said. “Um, I guess”. That was one of the first times I had ever seen my Cy feel embarrassed. She got up and went to go get drinks.

We walked to a lake nearby. It was crystal clear and the day was warm. The fish were really biting, and we were having so much fun. We kept five fish to cook for dinner.
