Where's the Party?

Party? Where’s the party? I was headed to a birthday party but this doesn’t look anything like a birthday party! Where are the decorations, the cake, the punch, the presents or even the PEOPLE ? This looks more like a funeral than a birthday celebration.
OH NO !!!!!! I remember now – I was driving down Main Street. The traffic light was green in my direction but in my peripheral vision I saw a streak of white and I heard sounds ——-Oh God! the awful sounds of screeching tires, breaking glass, metal against metal. Then there was silence! The next thing I knew you were talking about some kind of party!
Please tell me where I am….........
