“You’re an animal!” Fury raced through my veins as I screamed at the man before me.

“Now, Tabitha…”

“No! Don’t you ever call me by that name again!” My eyes went red as fire. It matched my hair until that turned black as pitch. I must’ve grown an inch.

“I swear, I didn’t do it!”

“Liar,” I said in a deep, demonic voice. “Stop lying.”

“Vowilia! Please! Look at these eyes. Could they possibly be those of a liar?” My eyes met his. For a second, I thought I felt my fury cool, but as quickly as it had gone, it came back. Fire burst from my hands, red as my eyes. I brushed my flaming hand across his face, making him wince.

“You did it, didn’t you?” I asked, moving my hand ever-closer to his hair.

“Yes,” he said. I brought my hand away from his head and walked away.

“Why didn’t you kill me?” he called after me.

“I’m an interrogator, not a bounty hunter,” I said, flicking my cat tail and returning to my normal cat-person self.

    Yes, THX , I did think it out waaay past this ficlet. I just need to figure out how to put it into the form of a series.

    sorry tigger. I was mad, and this was my release, and when I read it and edited it, it was good enough for ficlets.
