He was charming, she couldn’t believe how interesting and understanding he was.
He consoled her when she decided to tell him about her stalker.
For two weeks, night after night she waited for him to sign on.
She had no ideal he was already signed on and watching her.
That he was her stalker sending her the vulgar, sick messages everyday.
He knew her most intimate secrets and was growing impatient with the game.
He signed on; Stacy told him she was ready to take her next step, live video.
She wanted to see him, he made up an excuse and signed off.
She was a little disappointed but she could wait until tomorrow night.
He watched her dress for bed and waited until she fell asleep.
He pulled the newly purchased hunting knife from the box. Twisting it; focusing on his reflection gleeming off the blade he smiled. He placed the cold steel to his face, the feel shot an electric sensation through his body.
He put the knife and gloves along with a ski mask and change of clothes into his gym bag.

    I’m with someday_93—I want to know more. Why does he want to kill her? Very good idea in having the stalker play the consoling friend as well. This story is too big for a ficlet, you should keep writing! Thankyou for the read.

    I like that your character’s actions have reactions, it adds to the realness. You’ve streamlined logic and purpose—an example is when she gets some excuse not to link video feed and she thinks, “well, I can wait til tomorrow” where as the stalker knows the window is closing before he’ll seem suspicious, so he grabs his murder gear and decides to start the show., Nice.
