Well, apparently all the stress about Andy and Blake ran me down. I got the stomach flu. Either that or Mom poisoned the meatloaf Sunday night. So I was home from school Monday and Tuesday puking my guts out, and dying in anticipation to see Andy.

Wednesday morning I arrived at school early so I could corner Andy at his locker. I was so happy I didn’t have to deal with Blake. I could focus totally on Andy. There was so much I didn’t know. I had to find out why he’d signed off so abruptly Saturday.

Well, I stood at his locker until the bell rang, and he didn’t come. He was no where to be seen. He wasn’t there in 3rd hour. Or 5th hour. Or lunch. Or 6th hour. I couldn’t take it any longer. I strolled up to Kitty and asked, “Where on earth is Andy?”

“Didn’t he tell you?” she replied. “He moved.”

    Isn’t it silly how we always think they will show up in the next class, even though they hadn’t been there all day!?!
