A kiss
a thousand tears of sadness
Your voice
a thousand miles I’d walk
A sunset
a thousand promises that we could
never keep

All of this, it makes me wonder
is this worth the pain I go through everyday?
My heart says yes, but my head says no
I still wear that ring you bought me on christmas.

Before the sun sets
Will you be there to wipe my tears?
Before the moon rises
Do you promise me that we’ll be together before eternity ends?

I’ve walked five hundred miles
only 500 more until I feel the warmth of your hand
once again merging with mine

1000 tears cried
none left to dry and finally
I feel the smile that has left my face for so long

The last sunset we share
I close my eyes and make a wish
We are finally one.
