I passed the crumpled post-it note to Rachel, whispering “Pass that to Carrie, but don’t look!”,
she nodded. giving it to Mike behind her,
only one more person ‘til Carrie gets it.
But, to my dismay, Mike unwrinkles the small post-it note. Smiles, then passes it to Carrie, winking at me.

The next thing I know,
half the people in the room were staring at me.
People still whispering spreading my already revealed secret.
That’s when
Geeky Kyle pats me on my back,
“So,” he said showing his huge gap,
“I’ll pick you up on Saturday, 7:00,”

I hold my head in my hand,
I like Kyle B. the other Kyle, not this one!

Funny, how this all started from a post-it note!
