She had made the AngDev to carry two people, which was absolutely unheard of, not even attempted out of fear of the repercussions.

The AngDev was a bio-powered, infused machine that would allow the wearer to fly. The only problem was, they could never remove it. If they tried, they would die.

Another peculiarity was what was the Dev Curse. Originally, the AngDev was to be mass-produced in order to allow the army to fly without the costly production of planes, or the expensive textile necessary for a parachute. The only problem was, when the first generation was selected, the machines killed them. The spikes that infuse the machine with the body pierced all their vital organs. The only person that could fit inside and live, was its developer, who was promptly killed for sabotage.
