I’m running,
Hoping they won’t catch me.
Running down this path,
Away from all my thoughts and feelings.
They confuse me,
I run the wrong way, take a wrong turn.
Just keep running,
If I keep going it won’t matter.
If I get away from it,
I will finally find the silence I desire.
I trip and fall to my hands and knees,
They surround me, drag me down.
Farther and farther I sink,
Into the abyss.
Down, down, down
And I’m gone.
