The entire twelfth grade was in the woods, play the ‘Predator vs. Prey’ game I was at the bottom of the food chain. Everyone was after me, I had the fastest kids tailing me. I haven’t gotten caught once. I creep through the thick pines, looking over my shoulder every second. I saw a kid, sprinting towards me, Ben, he was the fastest kid in the school and he was after me. I strafed to the left, then ran forward. I was running towards him, a row of trees separating us. After I passed him, he caught on to my trick. He burst though the pines, tailing me again. I dash to the side into a clearing surrounded by thick pines. I could hear him coming. I jumped backwards, sliding on my back across the wet ground into the hollow of pine tree.
“Ouch! You sat on my hand John!” I heard a voice hiss.
“Who the hell-” I began.
“It’s me!” The voice whispered “Alex!”
“Oh, hey.” I said.
Alex was the hottest girl and I liked her.
Ben passed us later, leaving me and Alex.
“What do we do?” She asked.
“We wait.” I responded.
