I’m sorry for hurting you so badly. I wish I would’ve told you my feelings before…but you’ve always seemed to be so crazy about some other guy. I didn’t think you loved me.

And it was rude of me to leave so soon without warning you. I left the Monday after the party. We couldn’t stay any longer; my dad’s work couldn’t delay. We’re in Pleasantville, New Jersey. But it definitely isn’t pleasant, and it’s even worse without you.

I love you, and I’m sorry I had to do this to you.
