Oh, haleluiah! “Mitch? Thank God it’s you!”
“Yeah…love you, too? What the hell is going on?”
“It’s Susan…”
“Yeah, how are things with her?”
“Oi…”
“That bad? She break up with you?”
“Ha! I wish! No, she’s…let’s just say I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s listening in to our conversation right now.”
There was a pause on Mitch’s end.
“Oh, God…Susan? Mitch…OMG SHE KILLED HIM !”
“HAHA! Man, relax! It’s me.”
“Don’t do that!”
“You are gonna kill me for what I’m about to say next.”
“I probably am. What is it?”
“I told ya so.”
“What do you mean, ‘I tol’ ya so’?”
“Man, I told you not to go to that stupid school musical thing…and if you hadn’t…”
Another pause. Jeff this time. After about thirty seconds he laughed hysterically. Mitch couldn’t tell if he was entirely sane at this point.
“Oi…you’re right! This is what I get for dating THE Drama Queen!”
“Yeah. You ok?”
