I searched frantically all over the crazed forest. I just heard something, I smiled, my white fangs digging into my bottom lip. My eyes quickly turned their attention to a sharp movement behind me. I could smell the human flesh, I haven’t eaten in what seemed to be ages. I needed so strongly, to quench my thirst.
For human blood.

I turned running toward the terrified figure, leaves hitting my scarred ankles, unnoticeably. My attention shifted from hunger to my weak prey. You.
You turn on your heel beginning to run,
but I’m too fast,
too strong,
too thirsty to wait.

“No,” I hear you whisper once I pounce on you.
But, I let go of my grasp on your jacket when you turn your head.

“Amber?”, you nodded underneath my heavy body.

“How can you do this to me?”
you began
“I thought we…”
But, you shut up as soon as I bit into your delicious neck, a scream escaping your blue lips. The limp, cold body, once my girlfriend, soon became as white as my own.

I just killed my girlfriend.
I killed you.

    ooooo, you’re dark. Did you kill me or your girlfriend? Just kidding—I liked that the reader WAS the girlfriend, nice twist.
