'Tis Bliss to Kiss(I'm in the Mode for Love Challenge)

“I’m glad you agreed to meet with me,” said Father of the Light Held Open. “Pre-marital counseling is no longer a legal requirement, but it’s still a good idea.”

“Well, it took me about an hour to convince Wirehead that we needed to do this. He’s a little stubborn.” Samantha smiled at Wirehead who was sitting on the couch next to her. He smiled back, but was faking his pleasure with the whole idea.

Wirehead looked at the Father and said, “I love her. That’s all that matters. I don’t need a meeting to decide that. I hunger for her. When we’re apart I can smell her, taste her, know that I would not exist without her. Without her imprint on my circuitry I’m just an oversized iPod.”

“You mean, iBod, don’t you?” asked the Father. “You are an iBod, right?”

“That’s correct. I’m an iBod who would be nothing but an iPod without my beautiful Samantha.” Wirehead glanced at his bride-to-be and smiled.

“I can see you feel passionately about Samantha,” Father said. “Let’s talk about my fee before we begin.”

You did a good job with the dialog, at the same time I feel there’s room for improvement. Adding personality quirks and/or character habits into the conversations will help to bring them to life

An enjoyable read and an interesting viewpoint of future marriages. Good Job : )

an oversized ipod was nice description. Wirehead doesn’t strike me as a very nice name, but that’s what makes it funny so you can’t get rid of it.

The last line was a nice interjection of sterility into a touching moment, kind of highlighting that there is already an aspect of the sterile in the interaction. Did that make sense? Too philosophical? I also liked the robots little intentional slip of the tongue to make a more emphatic point, iPod for iBod.
