“Well, I’m full.” Abbie announced as she leaned back on the tree.
“Me too.” Alexia added as she fell backwards into the grass.
“Now we just need to find our way home.”
“Yeah. But how are we going to do that? We don’t even know where we are.” Abbie answered.
“Hmmm…” Alexia said as she sat back up to look around. “You know something Abbie? This looks just like the meadow we used to go through on our way home from school every day.”
“You know what? I think you’re right!” Abbie replied in excitement.
Abbie and Alexia stood up and started looking around to see which way their houses were.
“Lets see….”Alexia said as she looked around.
“Look! There’s the school!” Abbie said happily.
“So that means that home is that way!” Alexia replied as she pointed in the opposite direction.
“Come on then! Lets go home!” Abbie exclaimed.
“You don’t have to tell me twice.” Answered Alexia.
And with that, the girls took off running for home. They didn’t stop running until they got to their houses.
