Ten Reasons

I DO NOT want to go to homecoming. I can think of ten reasons why:
1.Blake will be there
2. Chrissy will be there
3. Blake will be there with Chrissy
4. dances are stupid
So that’s only four, but I could think of more if I felt like it.

Wednesday morning, two days untill homecoming. Wes walked up to my locker and grinned, “Hey.”
“Hey,” I smiled, he had been talking to me lately, and apparently he’s friends with a lot of guys in our group.
“Look, I was wondering, a group of us, Carson, CC, kat, Jake, and people were going to go to Homecoming as just a big group of friends, and we wanted to know if you wanted to come, if you’re ready too,” He looked nervous and awkward.
“With you?”
“Well, I dunno, if you want to, or, I didn’t know if you really wanted to go anyway.”
“Sure, I’d like to go, I guess, yeah,” I nodded, “Blake’s not going ruin my Homecoming.”
“cool, I’ll talk to you later then, Bye”
I am SO going to homecoming.
