O beautiful, for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain.
For purple mountain majesties,
Above the fruited plain!

Radiant and deep, bold and yet soft. I have the mellow sense of Blue and the fiery gleam of Red.

My deep color can persuade you into dreams and trip you into love. I am Yellow turned inside-out. Shy Pink fears me and subtle Green admires me.

Long years ago, commoners couldn’t dye their clothes to mimic my hue…I have long been the color of royalty, a symbol of wealth and power. I could make every color but Red bow before me if I had it in my nature.

Deep and sensitive, sweeter than you’ll ever know but more powerful than Orange…Who am I?

I am Purple.
