His heart starting beating faster and faster, he was grinning from ear to ear. “Does that mean we’re getting back together?”
“Yes Jay, I thought long and hard about this. I miss you and I love you.”
“I love you too Mystique. You are not going to regret this, I promise.”
“One more thing Jay……..I know you were looking for a place to live, so I was wondering if you wanted to move in with me?”
“Are you serious? I would love to move in with you.”
“Good, well I’m sure you have a lot of work to do, and I have to go to the recording studio. I’ll call you later.”
“Mystique, before you hang up, I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Jay hung up the phone, and released a breath of relief. He thought to himself, I’m glad I have the woman I love back in my life, and I’ll never let her go again.
