To Swing With Morgan

by Living In Wonder Land ♠

The pair sat on he old wodden two-seater swing. The trees branches slowly swung to the rythm of the wind. The wind danced in Morgans honey blonde hair. She looked longingly at Parker. She knew what was coming, she saw it in his expression. She gripped the chain the swing hung from, her throat tightening.
“You know I think we should take a break, if you know what I mean.” Parker said rather innocently. Morgans world darkened. She was at a loss of words and gave a smiple nod. Her brown eyes losing their sparkle. They stood off the swing and Parker gave her one last hug before disappearing from the park. Tears dripped slowly down her flushed cheeks. She sat back down on the swing. Small creaks escaping with every little push Morgan did to make the swing carry her back in forth. The swing tipped to the side, there wasnt another person to hold down the swing very well. There wasnt another person to hold Morgans world in place. She laid down on the swing, her weight holding down both sides.

Wow. I loved it! You are a great writer…The way you captured Morgan’s sadness was great. I agree with all the comments above. Five stars all the way.
