The Six Ficlet Challenge

I have reached my milestone – well, a milestone. 50 Ficlets!

I believe this calls for another challenge. This one has been brewing for some time.

Write a series of six ficlets but working backwards. So write the last ficlet first and slowing reveal to your audience how the story has got to that point in only SIX ficlets!

Sounds easy but make sure the last ficlet has enough to reveal throughout your other five!!

Feel free to add in other characters in as you work backwards but make sure it makes sense and they all lead back to the last ficlet!

Confusing but fun!

So good luck my fellow Ficleteers. Judging on the 13th of January!

    Hmm, challenging not just because of the reverse chronology, but because in general I tend not to sequel my own stories and certainly not to the point of six in a row. I’ll have to think about it.

    I sequel my own. Mainly because I rarely get sequeled :(.

    Very nice idea! I hardly ever sequal my own ficlets, but I’d like to try something new. We’ll see how it turns out.

    that is a very good question
    one that I did not forsee – I’d prefer if you sequeled as then it follows along in reverse order better…if that makes sense
    readers will also be able to read it easier – like a series
    i appreciate all the entries – hope to see more!
