There he was again. Redshoes. Wow, that smile. She ran up to his truck. “Hey,” He said cooly as he saw her, “Sup May?”
“Hey RedShoes,” She giggled, “Missed you…”
“Ugh, disgusted here!” Yelled Eric, who was sitting shotgun in RedShoes’ car. “Why are you calling here May? Her name is Matella! And why are you calling him RedShoes?! His name is John, and he is wearing black shoes! I can’t take all this gushy crap!!”
Matella looked at John, and John gazed lovingly back. They were meant to be, and nothing could stand between them, not even the idiotic comments of John’s best friend. But, breaking up the moment, Eric’s cell phone rang.
“Hello? Yah. Okay. Bye.” Eric said into the phone. “John, we gotta go, my mom’s waiting.” John laughed and gave Matella one last look before he drove off.
“Bye, love.” she said to the air where John was a moment ago. “See you soon.” Matella trudged home, thinking of John, of RedShoes, of her one true love.

    I would like it quite a bit better if you had new paragraphs for each quote, considering it’s hard to tell who is speaking all of the time. Still, entertaining.
