Have you ever heard the song the “Christmas Shoes”? It is a very sad song, but its meaning is amazing.

It is about a boy who wants to buy shoes for his Mom who is going to die soon. But it is on Christmas Eve. It is so sad, and it really means a lot. Here are some lyrics:

It’s Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size

You see she’s been sick for quite a while

This song is really meaningful and the first time I heard it, it instantly became my favorite. Go find the lyrics for this song and read them through. This song means a lot to me. It shows a part of Christmas and the holiday season that not many people think about.

    My bff in fourth grade and me were TOTALLY obsessed with that song…like…ridiculously. I love your word choice and deceisive critic of this great song. :)
