My Meaningful Songs

I love so many songs, and so many of them mean a lot to me, so I can’t choose just one.
But I will limit myself to a few.

“I’m not that girl” from Wicked

“Hands touch, eyes meet
Sudden silence, sudden heat
Hearts leap in a giddy whirl,
He could be that boy,
But I’m not that girl…”

This song is so beautiful, and I think that the song can really be true to basically everyone. I listen to it all the time when I am sad.

“For good” from Wicked

I love Wicked, so I love a lot of songs from Wicked. And “For good” has such a good moral to it also. It’s another really sad song though, but the truly beautiful songs usually are sad.

“It well may be, that we will never meet again
In this lifetime, so let me say before we part
So much of me is made of what I learned from you
You’ll be with me, like a handprint on my heart..”

Lastly, “Hold on” by Good Charlotte, really sad, but a good meaning, to help those who feel like giving up.

“This world, this world is cold, but you don’t, you don’t have to go.”

    Awww. I loooove Wicked! And I swear, if I had sequeled this, my song would’ve been For Good. Or maybe I’ll use a different one. But wow, it’s like you’re reading my mind….
