“Dave” I said softly.
“Gina, why do you do this to me? Why? Why? Why” He asked over and over again. I gulped.
“Dave please don’t get all upset over him. He’s just Connor.”
“Oh yea? Then who am I?”
“You are Dave. The perfect bestest friend in the whole wide world!”
“Really?” Asked Dave.
“Yes of course!” I said to him.
“I still don’t like him.”
“You are the kinda guy, girls dream about. But only certain girls have.”
“G, do you dream about me?”
“Well, umm….”
“You don’t?”
“Not exactly.”
“Well what exactly?”
I gulped and prepared for what was about to be said.
“Dave I dream about you all the time. And I don’t think of you as a bestest friend. I think about you as more than just a friend everyday of my life.”
