Christmas brought me a few things: Love from family, hours spent in Starbucks, the flu, Chicago cold, and my “favorite,” Dance Dance Revolution.

My brother got it for me as a joke. He knows I can’t dance. Everyone knows I can’t dance. I’ve been told so many, many times.

I hate the stupid game.

And, as I was sitting in my living room, watching my cousin dance on endlessly, I realized something. Even though I try, I can never avoid it…

I have to dance.
