Quickly, my slippery fingers dial your number.

It rings; Three times exactly.

I wait in scilence to hear your voice, something I think I may be afraid to hear…

“Hello?” your voice is distance on the other end of the phone, but still your there.

“Hey, this is Megan, from school.” my voice breaks at the last word; I can feel myself trembling.

I could’ve sworn I heard the smile in your voice as you said, “Hey, whats up?”

I smile too, suddenly I feel calm.
