Why do people say his name is mud?

How could a name be muddy? I mean it’s not like our names are little piggies and like to go rolling in the mud. But you never know… maybe in the middle of the night our names take the night off and go cruising through the muddy banks of who knows where. Or if you switch it around and you say that his mud is name then it really gives you something to think about. For instance how could mud have a name. Doesn’t it already have a name- mud? Come on spell it with me M- U-D. See it wasn’t that hard was it?
Well maybe someday my Name will explain it all to me.(you know when i’m a little older, and all that jazz.)
