To My Ficlets Family

This is more of a letter then a real story, a letter to my Ficlets family:

This is not a goodbye, I just thought that at this point in my life, it was appropriate to say thank you. Ficlets has been my alternate universe, the place where I can go for distraction, comfort, a place to be the girl I truly am, and I don’t know what I would have done without all of you.

Thank you to all the people who first welcomed me with open arms; you gave me the immediate sense of belonging I needed.

Thank you to all the people who I’ve been in contact via noting, whether to be silly or serious, or just to listen to me vent.

Thank you to the people who have left comments on my stories, and written stories of their own—you brighten my day.

You guys are the family I’ve needed so desperately for so long; you are my rock, my refuge, my safe haven. I’ve met awesome people and made amazing friends. Thank you for being here, through it all. Thank you for being the friends I needed. I love you, so much!

Ahhh, it was my idea to write a letter to ficlets! Months ago…then again, I never had the initiate to write it. So I guess the credit really does go to you…ah well. Very nice. =)
