As she hangs upside down, on her bed w/ a million thoughts in her head. She thinks to herself she’d be better off dead.
That the world would be a better place if it just weren’t for her,
After that, she doesn’t think a word….

One night I had a dream, she planned it out so carefully.
One fateful day, she did it, okay, she took her life away, but
guess what?
Now that she is gone, the world remains the same…

The sound of what i said to her, what i should've said before.
I told her about the dream i had, the one in which she died.
I told her how i hated it, when i knew she cried. 
 And when she asked me why, I said, 'I know about your lullaby.'
The sound of the fluttering of angel wings, the sound of 
galliant warriors upon their steeds. 
The sound of a whisper, the sound she needs to hear. The sound of Jesus saying,
"Fear not my child, I'm near." 
His arms He wrapped around her, He made her feel so dear. 
He didn't just hug her, He held her, He chased away her fears....

    Oh phew. I’m glad it had a happy ending. This is beautiful, so deep. The part about the lullaby is wonderful…it really explains the situation in a way that you wouldn’t really expect.
