I laughed as we headed off to science class. The teacher is a total dunce, can’t control a class and gets everything from the book.
I sat next to Macy again. the class slugged along for what seemed like ours. I started staring at her again, she looked at me. She actually smiled at me.
Mmmmmmm.

“What?” I smiled back.
“Nothing.” She said.
“Kirsty is so annoying.”
Smooth
“Yeah, she is so much better than me.”
She looked as if she shouldn’t have said that.
There was an uncomfortable silence, but I knew I was going to say something bad, no matter what.
“No, she isn’t better than you.” I blurted. “Kirsty is such a slut and you’re better than that!”
She gave me an odd, confusing look, but then she blushed.
“You know the only reason I said that I had no homework was because I didn’t want to be around her!”
She raised her eyebrows, and her cheeks flushed even more.
“Will you go out with me?”
I shouldn’t have said that.
