Lindsay got back in her car. On the way home she called Chels. She was on the verge of tears and she knew Chelsea would be able to think of something to make her feel better.

Hey, what happened, is everything alright, are you okay?

Yeah, everything is just wonderful.
Linds had extreme sarcasm in her voice.

What did he do now?

I saw Sarah leaving his house and when I rang the doorbell his mom told me he was sick again.

Sounds to me like someone is lying.

Chelsea what do I do?

I think you need to talk to him. Even if he really is sick, he’ll survive talking to you for 2 minutes.

Lindsay turned the car around and started on her way back, all the while thinking about what could possibly be going wrong. She didn’t know then, but she would soon find out it was nothing she would have ever expected.
