Penny looked as if she’d said something horrible and all I could do was stare as she walked away. Or should I say RAN away, she practicaly flew! How was I supposed to talk to her, let alone “save her”, when she wouldn’t stick around long enough for me to say something else besides ‘H-hey.’ It’s her first day I’ll give her that. But still…ugh! I kicked myself mentally for being so… Oh CRAP ! I muttered aloud as I noticed a few teachers walking the hallway headed outdoors. I gotta get home. moms gonna kill me! I hurried out the nearest exit, looking around for a glimpse of Penny. where’d she go? Thanks to my inablity to do two things at once I walked int.. ‘Kim! I-I’m so s…’ I stuttered. ‘Clumsy?’ she muttered. ‘Yeah I am.’ I said trying to make light the situation, ‘Remember that one ti..’ ‘No. Not really.’ she cut in. ‘I killed those memories a long time ago.’ she said.
O-kayy..? ‘Stay away from me Annie.’ Kim muttered as she walked away.
She hasn’t called me that in years…

    Great stream of consciousness with all the abrupt interruptions and stuttering. Really good job making us feel for the characters frantic state and overall feeling unsure.

    i lik the fact the kim used to be her friends and that when she’s alone she’s okay. it’s a cute little side story!
