“Now we have Rose Parker,” the annoucer said, getting bored, “Born October 11, 1908.” Rose wheeled her chair up the handicap ramp and across the stage. “That seems to be our last contestant,” The announcer said, “And our oldest Maybelly, Louisiana citizen is,” he paused in an attept for drama, “ROSE PARKER ! Rose, come on back!” Rose wheeled back onto the stage to accept her plastic and rhinestone tiara and her boquet of 10 daffodills. Frank was crushed and never forgave Rose. THE TROUBLES OF THE OLD AND THE RESTFUL !

    This was just silly! A light hearted story, entertaining, and comedic. I chuckled. Great answer to the challenge.

    wonderful. good use of the “prop” words. cute ending :)

    just a thought….if frankfurt would’ve won, would he have gotten a tiara and daffodils too? lol

    nice story.
