The rest of our group eventually arrived and we watched movies, played pool, and basically stayed up all night. Wes occasionally asked me if I was ok, and to just let him know if I wanted to go home, rest, etc. He totally waited on me the whole night, it was amazing, and despite the previous events of the night, I really enjoyed myself. At some point I got cold and found myself wearing Wes’ letter jacket over my dress. As we watched the last movie, most of us fell asleep snuggled up to our dates. Except for Carson and his girlfriend who had been making out for most of the night and still were. After the movie, (At about 9 in the morning) Wes drove me home. We stood at the door of my house and hugged briefly, after an awkward pause Wes spoke.
“Well goodnight then, milady,” And he bowed, taking my hand and kissing the back of it. I smiled and said goodbye and went inside, smiling.
My back to the door I slowly lifted my hand and pressed it to my lips. I paused and smiled again.
“Mo-om! Dad! I’m home!”
