You burst into a beautiful flame, full of passion and life. You took me by the hand and ran with me into a new world, an enchanted world. It was pure, innocent, and magical. We shared wonderful moments that I can never forget.

If only I had seen the sadness in those laughing eyes. If only I had heard the bitterness, crying out from the depths of your heart. It was there, I saw the signs. I should have known.

You fell to ash. Lost, gone from the world we shared.

Our world.

I waited for you. I have been waiting for you for what feels like eternity. I promised you that if you needed me, I’d be here for you.

I’m done waiting.

Wherever you are, don’t be afraid. I’m making a new promise. I’m going to find you. No matter where you are, no matter how long it takes, I will find you. Even if I die, I will never stop looking. Why?

It’s simple, really. From the day I met you, I always wanted to tell you something, but I never did.

I need to tell you now. I need to say it.

I love you.
