“Hey Hunter, how are you?” I asked.

“Pretty good. How’s my bff Steph??”

“I’m great. You know I was just thinking how great it is that we have been such good friends for so long,” she said with passion in her eyes.

“Ya, it is. I mean, we’ve known each other since preschool,” he said.

“Ya, and I’m glad that we haven’t had any relationships yet to tear us apart,” she said meaningfully.

Confused now, he just muttered a yeah.

She contemplated what to do. She knew he felt the same way, he just had to see it.

Seeing that this was going nowhere, she started to drift closer to him. Suddenly, he understood. Taking her in his arms, they gave each other a first kiss neither of them would ever forget.
