Deep in the bulk of an Arvian Organic Cruiser, a grotesque, throbbing mound of flesh extricated itself from an inside wall. It fell to the ground with a hideous wet sound, building itself up into a roughly humanoid form. The bowels of the ship contracted as the Arvian leader stood high, awakening from its sleep.

A string of garbled, high-pitched warbling emanated from its head. It echoed around the tissue of the ship, causing the whole vehicle to expand and contract several times over. Out of all the organic matter of the walls, other Arvians slunk out of the muscle.

The lead Arvian stuck its head to a front most wall and stayed for a second, as though looking outside. Its “vision” consisted of hues of red. Not that there was much else to see in the planet below anyway.

Another guttural command, with much pulsating of the body and disgusting extraneous noises, and the entire remainder of the Arvian fleet descended upon the planet.
