A Challenge, You Have Your Time

I know, you’re probably not supposed to prequel a challenge as a challenge, but Alexis’ sparked an idea in my head. So, now that beautiful is out there, what exactly is time. I know, I’ve asked my friends this, but their answers were simply:
“Seconds ,minutes, hours”
But really, when someone says “We still have time to spare.” Is time that unimportant, where you can spare it? Or perhaps “Just to kill time” all these expressions can mean so many things.
I always looked at time as priceless, if only you had “A little more time with that one person”, if only “Time could stop”.

I challenge you to come up with a precise definition of time, whatever it is.

    Wow, terrific idea. I will take this, but I must say, it’s going to require some thought.
    Time is one of the things I think I sometimes take granted, you know, just being there and I’ve never really thought about what it meant. I’m rather surprised and a bit cross with myself. ;-]]

    Too deep a challenge for me after taking a night time cold medicine, but it did make me think of a book I read, ‘Momo’. It’s by the same guy who wrote ‘The Neverending Story’. It has a neat view of time you might find amusing. And it has a tortoise in it.
