Luna had to clap her hand over her mouth to stop herself from yelling: “YOU!” She was sure that her face was apple red. It was the boy from last night! What a stroke of luck. Him being a transfer student here. Wow!
Luna nearly trembled as introduced himself. Mrs. Wilks murmured something to him and pointed out his seat. It was right behind Luna. She squealed inside of herself.
“Lune?” Chelsea whispered.
“Yes, Chelsea?”
“Do you have eye-color changing contacts?” Chelsea said, her voice in awe.
“Why do you ask?” Luna said, suddenly deterred.
“Your eyes…” Chelsea muttered.
Luna knew something was wrong. She squinted her eyes and raised her hand. “Mrs. Wilks, can I use the restroom?”
“Sure. Be back soon, though. We’re going over the Emperor timeline.”
Luna rushed to the bathroom, nearly knocking over a library shelf in her haste.
