I was just about to walk through the metal detector, but I was held back by a strong hand.
“You’ll have to take off your jacket, sir.” An official said.
No! I cut hole in the back of my shirt! I can’t take this jacket off unless… Oh well.
I nodded to the guard and concentrated hard.

My back seared as my dark wings sunk into my skin, burning a tattoo of my wings into my back while repairing the holes in my shirt.

I stifled a cry, but it was loud enough to make everyone in the room look at me and Emilia.

My back was practically on fire but my best not to wince while I slipped my leather jacket off, I went through the metal detector.

As I went through, I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, then I was cleared.

I picked up my stuff, and watched Emilia pass through. We headed off to get something to eat.

    Haha! I like the idea of the wings hiding themselves as tattoos on his back. That seems pretty clever.
