One night in early March, my two best friends and I went to the skating rink to meet up with some friends, one of which didn’t go to our school.
Now mind you, I am not the best skater in the world. My friends skated along without me but this guy,the one in the other school, stayed back to help me. We talked alot that night, and I got to know him better as the night progressed. It had been almost an hour when he took my hand to steady me and didn’t let go.
He asked me out a few laps later. It was sweet, and I was really excited. Just after he asked me out, the ‘couples skate’ started. Of course we stayed out there together, which is how my friends found out.
After couples skate, me and him were talking about how hard I could hit. I told him I didn’t hit hard, but he wanted me to prove it. I asked if he was sure, and he said I should go ahead. So I did. I felt extremly bad after, because my ring had cut his lip.
My friends teased me about it afterwards, but he asked for it! Literally.
