valentines day special

With tears running down my eyes i wrote:

”..beyond the clouds where angels live,
you would still be waiting for me..
still my soul seek you in vain,
where my heart’s pain casts its shadow..
till we meet again my dear, happy valentines day..”

and entered the URL of my own portrait, which resembled a man with pieces of a broken heart in his hand.

then i posted it on the site

it was for a photo & caption contest, named ” Lost Love”, as part of valentines day celebrations

an hour later i came back with an intense curiousity to check whether someone else has posted a much better photo and caption.

my heart broke..
they changed the contest topic to ” Love, sweet love”

    good, but at the same time it seems to broken, to choppy. i don’t know but it seems as if something is missing – that emotion perhaps – keeping it from seeing greatness.

    Very funny with nice layering to it, heartbroken poem, heartbroken about the contest. Cute, in a doubly tragic sort of way.

    hahahahah, brilliant idea to have them change the contest. i was in this whole serious and hopeful mood, like “i hope he wins!” and then they changed it. that was great=]
