Like gummy bears, we see no foe.
I’d like to say it’s all smiles and daises.
But man this love stuff can drive us all crazy.

Have you ever watched the one you love, love someone else?

How could the answer ever be no, that’s all life is.

Constant disappointment.

And when you see them together, your heart sinks, and you want to be done with love forever.

But every time he says your name, do your eyes shine, showing your excitement? Does your stomach flip with anticipation?

Love is dark,
but love is bright.

And one day, someday, when you find that one, the one worthy of love...

Your world will shine.

Your heart will race.

You’ll know… it’s love

But until then… Constant disappointment

    Great job with the repetition at the beginning and end. I thought the gummi bear line was pretty funny too. The whole thing has a neat mixture of hope and, well, constant disappointment.

    I like the change of mood from beginning, to middle, and then back to sadness at the end. I, too, appreciated the repition. Totally tied the piece together.
