The first half of the school day couldn’t go by any slower, but long awaited lunch bell finally rang.
The note that she had received was crinkling in her pocket as she made her way to the lunch room. She was excited and nervous at the same time. At first she was just going to ignore the note that had mysteriously landed on her desk, but Kamaria was too curious of a person to just let it go.
When she got to the lunch room, Kamaria scanned the area for a table in the corner.
Geez! There’s too many people in here! she thought to herself.

“Well, what can you expect? It is a high school cafeteria.”

Kamaria almost jumped out of surprise. She turned to see who the mind reader was, and found herself looking into a pair of violet eyes. For some reason, she was not surprised.
